This new campaign is aimed at social networks, specialised websites and blogs. It is a short film showing a family: “the Allfakes” who has purchased some products on Internet. Most medicines in France that are sold on Internet are so-called “lifestyle” medicines and are mainly treatments for erectile dysfunction, slimming pills and products to increase muscle mass. What are the results and consequences? Are these medicines reliable? The film deals with serious topics but on a light register to create a buzz on social networks and Internet, and reach all ages and all people who buy on Internet.
According to Legitscript, of the 331,430 websites monitored that sell healthcare products, 94.3% are selling pharmaceutical products illegally! Today, public health and security are at risk from the illegal trade of fake medicines on Internet. All countries with access to Internet are targeted by unscrupulous traffickers who sell medicines at very attractive prices, whose contents are not guaranteed and which can cause serious damage to the health of those that take them.
Online purchasing is becoming too simple and inspections are not reliable enough. IRACM has therefore chosen to focus on this aggressive and pernicious cybercrime that knows no borders.
