3rd Sorosoro Session

On December 8, the" Sorosoro, so the languages of the world may live on!” program is celebrating three years of existence at the Maison des Cultures du Monde. It will take us on a trip to India, Africa, and to France's overseas territories.... The program includes folk tales that will make us laugh and cry, lectures, and the screening of an Indian film never before seen in France.

Sorosoro celebrates two years of filming

It all started in 2009 when the first crew, headed up by Muriel Lütz, head camerawoman, and Patrick Mouguiama-Daouda, linguist, travelled to Gabon to film two languages and their culture: Mpongwe, spoken on the outskirts of Libreville, and Benga spoken by the seaside at Cap Estérias. Ever since, the shoots have followed one after the other…
