L’Institut Ricci de Taipei
The Taipei Ricci Insitute was created in 1996. Its objective is to contribute to the understanding of the Chinese culture thanks to research, debates and publications. The site is a pan-asian magazine of cultural, social and spiritual concerns which centers on the interaction between the youth of Asia and of the rest of the world, with special focus on the link between cultural diversity, sustainable development and spiritual empowerment, encouraging change by reporting on replicable success stories at the local level. International Organization of the Francophonie
The Francophonie, is an international organization of politics and governments with French as the mother or customary language, wherein a significant proportion of people are Francophones (French-speaking) or where there is a notable affiliation with the French language or culture.
Formally known as the Organisation internationale de la Francophonie (OIF) or the International Organization of the Francophonie, the organization comprises 56 member states and governments, 3 associate members, and 14 observers.
The AFM Europe
The AMF Europe - Friends of the Global Fund, Europe, was created in April 2005, under the patronage of Jacques Chirac, French President. It gathers delegates from European States and European organizations, from civil society and private partners eager to take part to the fight against Aids, tuberculosis and malaria. The AMF Europe’s objective is to foster the mobilization from institutions, public opinion and companies, on the European continent. It particularly works on promoting the Global Fund, created in 2002 thanks to the UNO and the G8.
Red Helmet Foundation
Ever since 1997, Nicole Guedj, Head of the Red Helmet Foundation, has been supporting the creation of a UN task force (the “Red Helmets”) that would coordinate international efforts to help for victims of humanitarian disasters. Today, The UN plan is being substantially reformed. The goal is to enhance the capacities of humanitarian players working on the ground in order to become more responsive and efficient.
It is to accompany this process of reflection that the Red Helmets Foundation was born in 2006. It also has vocation to facilitate the work of rescue teams, notably by the creation and the provision of innovative technological tools, strengthening the coordination of their actions.
Foundation for a Culture of Peace
The Foundation for a Culture of Peace was founded in March 2000 with the objective to contribute to build and consolidate a Culture of Peace through reflection, research, education and on-the-spot action. Its activities focus mainly on linking and mobilizing networks of institutions, organizations and individuals who have proven their commitment to the values of the Culture of Peace. The Foundation’s concrete actions focus mainly on educational activities, Human Rights and democracy. The media and Information and Communication Technologies constitute other fundamental means of spreading the Culture of Peace. Consequently, the Foundation promotes workshops with journalists and information professionals in order to promote the citizens mobilization and particularly the youth in favour of a Culture of Peace.
