JC Decaux is renewing its partnership this year with the Fondation Chirac. From November 16 to 23, 2011, large poster portraits of the laureates of the Prize for Conflict Prevention will adorn the famous Avenue des Champs-Elysees.
From Friday, November 4 until December 2, 2011, the Forum Fnac Montparnasse will host the exhibition "Les Visages de la Paix”. This 2011 edition replaces the 2010 exhibition at the Fnac at Ternes in Paris, at Nantes, and Bordeaux.
The Fondation Chirac Prize for Conflict Prevention is three years old. Since 2009, two winners have been selected every year by a Jury of eminent specialists who have themselves worked for peace.
For the third year in a row, the Fondation will award its Prize for Conflict Prevention. It honors the men and women who work daily to ease tensions that arise from political, sectarian, economic, or environmental issues. This Prize will be awarded on Thursday, November 24, 2011 in Paris.
On September 15, 2011, just weeks before the Prize ceremony, scheduled on November 2011 at the Musée du Quai Branly, the Jury will meet in Paris and select the recipients of the Fondation Prize and the Special Jury Prize
